The sun is plasma

So is our solar simulation technology

Lumartix provides:

Durability

plasma bulbs with virtually endless lifespan

Repairability

every spare part can be purchased individually

AAA Performance

compliant with industry standards

Durability

Electrodless Bulb

for a lifetime

Our plasma lamps use electrodless bulbs that contain carefully chosen molecules. When agitated, molecules break, electrons are set free, creating a plasma. The core of the bulb reaches temperatures of around 8000 K. When moving to the colder outskirt of the bulb, molecules reassemble and emit light.

Some plasma technologies require the bulb to spin for the lamp to operate. Lumartix has developed stable recipes that work without rotation.

The bulb will work as intended for a virtually endless amount of time.

LightTron

up to 40,000h

Our lamps are powered by LightTron: an air-cooled radio frequency components. It provides constant energy to the bulb to sustain the plasma state.

LightTron will operate for up to 40,000h.

Repairability

Swiss craftsmanship

Our machines are assembled by hand in Switzerland, and designed to be opened. Every part is easily replaced and can be purchased on its own.

AAA Performance

Our solar simulator are of AAA class according to the IEC 60904-9 Ed.3 (2020) norm.

Irradiance Stability

Our lamps show less than 1% illumination variation through time.

Illumination Uniformity

Our solar simulators provide uniform illumination with less than 2% variation between the brightest and darkest points on the surface.

Spectral Matching and Spectral Coverage

Our plasma lights match the full sun's spectrum from 280 nm to 2500 nm. They have a spectral coverage of 97.5% with a spectral deviation of 20.4%.

Industry Compliance

MIL-STD-810G compliant

Our simulators are compliant with the American military norm.

DIN-75220 compliant

Our simulators are compliant with the German automotive norm.
